Kansas City’s hottest party band, Lost Wax, and DJ Ashton Martin, provided the unforgettable entertainment for the evening. Guests enjoyed delicious refreshments and danced the night away. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next event!
Fly Day 2018
Take Flight KC sponsored and hosted another successful Fly Day for kindergartners from Ervin Early Learning Center on September 27. This was the 7th Fly Day event, and the 2nd one that Take Flight KC sponsored and hosted. Kindergartners spent the day in Hangar 1 at the Lee’s Summit Airport touring airplanes, learning about aviation from pilots, enjoying a private airshow from KC Flight Formation Team, and meeting KCPD helicopter pilots as well as members of the Kansas City and Lee’s Summit Police and Fire Departments.
Thank you so much to all of the other sponsors and volunteers! All of the hard work is worth it to see the wonder and excitement on each child’s face.
